Clinging to these days
If I could be a mere burr
How far we’d all go
Tag: nature
north
A descending wraith
To leech life from all progress
And flit away north
horns
Such bold little horns
Emerge so green, yet blooden!
Obstinate peppers
peppery
A mere breath it took
Sweet, peppery woods and earth
I dared not forget
dapples
A crimson powder
Gently dapples the gums’ roots
With their whispy blooms
fungus
Verdant little bells
Surviving frost and fungus
To soon see crimson
attune
To attune to more
Than drones of modernity
Silence of nature
stalks
Verdant little stalks
Daring to reach out skyward
Grass, soon to be felled
glares
The hardest of glares
Softened by foggy veneer
The condensation
gypsum
These crystalline forms
I behold cobalt granite
And devour gypsum
